California law requires organizations with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment prevention training for employees. This training is different from the training for supervisors. Ministry Pacific is offering this instruction to its clients at no charge. The training meets the standards of state law.
Our free training, led by HR Ministry Solutions, will take place live via Zoom. HR Ministry Solutions is a professional human resources consultant for ministries and approaches this delicate topic with dignity and grace. Individual and organizational certifications will be provided for everyone who participates (see the information below so your attendance gets counted).
Important Details
Organizations with five or more employees are required to provide this training to employees within six months of their hire date.
The training must be repeated every other year (every two years).
Ministry Pacific, through HR Ministry Solutions, will provide certification documentation for each participant who registers. Because of this, each participant must register individually.
Each participant must watch the training on a separate device. When multiple employees watch the presentation on the same device, only one of the participants will show as having viewed the training. This is because the training software can track devices, but not how many people are watching on that device.
Once you receive the certificate of participation, you simply keep it and can present it to the state if you are asked to do so. You do not need to send it to Ministry Pacific.
What if I cannot attend on the training date?
Ministry Pacific is not offering another training. However, you are free to obtain the training from any certified provider. We recommend contacting HR Ministry Solutions to set up your training.
